The present invention relates to a hydrogel mask having a UV screening function and a method for manufacturing the same and, more specifically, to a technique for effectively blocking the UV by uniformly dispersing organic or inorganic UV screening agents in the hydrogel mask matrix and stably immobilizing the hydrogel matrix, and a hydrogel mask which is easy to wear and improves activity. The hydrogel mask for UV screening of the present invention comprises: a release-treated film member; a hydrogel matrix layer formed over the film member in which UV screening agents are dispersed and fixed; and a patch member formed on the hydrogel matrix layer.
