PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which eliminates the need of joining between an electric conduction sheet and a water blocking sheet and accurately energizes an area between the electric conduction sheet and the water blocking sheet thereby detecting pin holes even when the water blocking sheet is lifted and a gap exists between the sheets.SOLUTION: A pin hole detection method of a water blocking sheet includes: a first step where an electric conduction mat 4 is laid on a base 3 of a water blocking sheet 2; a second step where the water blocking sheet 2 is laid on the electric conduction mat 4; a third step where a sheet pressing member 12 is arranged on the water blocking sheet 2 to press the water blocking sheet 2 against the electric conduction mat 4; and a fourth step where an electrode brush 22 is arranged on the pressed water blocking sheet 2 to detect pin holes. The pin hole detection conducted in the fourth step is conducted immediately after the pressing work in the third step. |
