PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentrated photovoltaic module that is less bulky than existing concentrated photovoltaic modules.SOLUTION: A light guide solar panel having a light insertion stage having an input surface for receiving light, optical elements and at least one optical output aperture, wherein the optical elements are formed between the input surface and the at least one optical output aperture to direct the light from the input surface to the at least one optical output aperture further includes an optical waveguide stage having an output surface, wherein the optical waveguide stage is optically coupled to the at least one optical output aperture to receive the light from the at least one optical output aperture and guide the light towards the output surface. |
