PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling performance of a battery block while stably fixing and supporting the battery block in a case.SOLUTION: A battery block 10 comprises: a battery block 10 including a plurality of batteries 12 capable of charging and discharging, and a holding member 13 that holds the batteries 12 in the vertical direction while setting the longitudinal lengths of the batteries respectively in the direction crossing the vertical direction and; a module case 2 that stores the battery block 10. The holding member 13 has a corrugated shaped outer wall surface 13a along the outer contour of the batteries 12 arranged in the vertical direction. An inner wall of a side wall part 2b of the module case 2 which faces the outer wall surface 13a of the holding member 13 is formed into a corrugated shape so as to fit into the corrugated shaped outer wall surface 13a.
