PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of achieving both highly accurate positioning of a heat shielding plate 150 and easiness in replacement of a process cartridge 40.SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus, a depth side part of the heat shielding plate 150 in an orthogonal direction to the surface of a sheet in the figure that is a direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction of the sheet, is fixed to a rear side plate 87; a front beam member 82 disposed to face the heat shielding plate 150 in the same direction at a position deviated to a near side in the same direction with respect to the heat shielding plate 150, is removably provided to a main body frame in order to support the heat shielding plate 150; and a near side end part in the same direction of the heat shielding plate 150 is fixed to the front beam member 82. |
