PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commutator, armature, and brush-having motor that is able to simplify manufacturing processing and management processing and hence restrict a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A commutator 10 comprises: a commutator body externally fitted and fixed on a rotation shaft and having insulation properties; a plurality of segments 15 exposed from the rotation slide surface of the commutator body and having coil connected thereto; and a short-circuit member 16 that causes a short circuit in segments 15 that have the same potential among the plurality of segments 15. The segments 15 that have the same potential and the short-circuit member 16 are integrally formed in series from the same member, thereby forming assembly bodies 50a, 50b, 50c. These assembly bodies 50a, 50b, 50c are fitted to the commutator body. |
