PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of performing proper equalizer adjustment in accordance with a recording state of an optical disk.SOLUTION: An optical disk includes: an optical pickup that projects an optical beam onto a record surface of an optical disk and receives reflection light; a signal generation unit 21 that generates a reproduction signal on the basis of the reflection light received by the optical pickup; an equalizer adjustment unit 31c that performs equalizer adjustment of the reproduction signal; and an adjustment control unit 31d. The adjustment control unit 31d controls the equalizer adjustment unit 31c to perform equalizer adjustment of the reproduction signal in accordance with the reproduction signal on the basis of the reflection light from a management information area for recording predetermined management information within the record surface of the optical disk. |
