<p>In the present invention, an automatic transmission is provided with a second clutch (C-2) that is engaged by pressing and moving a piston member (32) in one axial direction by supplying engagement pressure to an engagement action oil chamber (36) disposed further to the outer periphery than a central axis, and that is released by a return spring (33) which presses and drives the piston member (32) in the other axial direction. The second clutch (C-2) has a cylinder member (31) which has the engagement action oil chamber (36) formed between itself and the piston member (32) and which has an oil path (a62) formed passing through the cylinder member on the outer peripheral side of the engagement action oil chamber (36). On the outer peripheral side of the second clutch (C-2), provided are oil paths (a60, a61) that can supply engagement pressure to the engagement action oil chamber (36) via the oil path (a62). Engagement pressure can be supplied to the engagement action oil chamber (36) of the second clutch (C-2) from the outer peripheral side of the engagement action oil chamber (36).</p> |
