PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for cooling yarns capable of producing high-quality yarns while suppressing occurrence of single filament breakage.SOLUTION: A spinning cylinder 21 comprises: a cylindrical body 30 having a plurality of openings through which a gas passes; and a cylindrical flow regulating body 31 which is disposed in the cylindrical body 30 and regulates a gas flow entering into the spinning cylinder 21 inward. The spinning cylinder 21 comprises a low speed section 21a at an upper end side thereof where flow velocity of a gas passing through the spinning cylinder 21 becomes slower compared to a part below the low speed section 21a. A first part 31a of the flow regulating body 31 located at the low speed section regulates a gas flow flowing from the outside of the spinning cylinder 21 toward the inside obliquely upwards. |
