PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a trouble that data are erroneously written in a copying source storage device due to the error of connection in the case of copying data from the copying source storage device to a copying destination storage device.SOLUTION: Mark data indicating copying destination storage devices THDD1 to THDD3 are preliminarily recorded in the copying destination storage devices THDD1 to THDD3. Before starting to copy data from a copying source storage device MHDD to the copying destination storage devices THDD1 to THDD3, a copying device reads the data of the recording position of the mark data to the connected storage devices, and collates the read data with the preliminarily stored mark data. When the mark data are recorded in the storage devices connected to second interfaces 221 to 223 to which the copying destination storage devices should be connected, and the mark data are not recorded in the storage device connected to a first interface 21 to which the copying source storage device should be connected, copy processing is permitted, and otherwise, the copying processing is inhibited. |
