The present invention relates to a d-class amplifier for driving a sound production device which is an electrostatic capacitance load, and the present invention is provided with the following: a first output circuit having a first and a second switching device (T1, T2) that operate in a mutually complementary manner and are connected in series between a first power source line (HL) applying a first potential and a second power source line (LL) applying a second potential lower than the first potential; a first capacitor (C1) connected between the first power source line and the second power source line; a pulse width modulator (CP) that generates a switching signal (FETS) which was subjected to pulse width modulation on the basis of a triangular wave (TW) and an audio signal (AU), and that applies the switching signal to a first output circuit; and a slew-rate limiting amplifier (TC) that is connected to an input section to which the audio signal of the pulse width modulator (CP) is applied, and that limits the slew rate of output. The sound production device is connected in series to an inductor (L1) which is connected to a first output node (N1) of the first output circuit, and together with the inductor, the sound production device forms an LC filter. |
