A compliance status for each reference period is determined based on the system performance data. For each reference period, it is determined whether the reference period is a historical reference period or a current reference period. A set of selected historical reference periods to display is determined. A graphical visualization of the set of selected historical reference periods is generated using a set of nested graphical objects. Each graphical object in the set of nested graphical objects represents a compliance status of a historical reference period of the set of selected historical reference periods.
