The invention relates to an aqueous liquid for impregnating base paper, said liquid comprising an organic acid, a preferably saturated hydrocarbon compound of medium chain length, a metal salt compound, sodium chloride, an organic solvent and a reactive, low-foam wetting agent, and also to the use of the aqueous liquid for imparting water repellency to base paper, such as base paper for corrugated paper board or honeycomb paper board, in order to make same water repellent. |
