The present invention provides: a thermoelectric conversion material that has low thermal conductivity and further improved thermoelectric performance index; a method for producing said thermoelectric conversion material; and a thermoelectric conversion module. This thermoelectric conversion material comprises a thermoelectric semiconductor layer, which is formed of a thermoelectric semiconductor material, on a porous substrate having fine pores, wherein the porous substrate comprises a polymer layer (B) on a plastic film (A), and the fine pores are formed in the polymer layer (B) and part of the plastic film (A). This method for producing said thermoelectric conversion material comprises: a substrate preparation step for preparing a porous substrate, which comprises a step 1, a step 2 and a step 3; and a film formation step for forming a thermoelectric semiconductor layer by forming a film of the thermoelectric semiconductor material on the porous substrate. This thermoelectric conversion module uses said thermoelectric conversion material. |
