摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel driving device inexpensively and simply constructed to prevent the occurrence of abnormal noises during low-speed rotation of an electric driving source.SOLUTION: A wheel driving device 10 includes: a rotational load mechanism 40. The mechanism 40 includes a friction locking member 41 stored in an in-wheel motor 13, namely, inside a hollow-shaped output shaft 16a of a motor body 16, and provided non-rotatably; a brake shoe 42 to be rotated integrally with the output shaft 16a to frictionally engage with the member 41; and a push spring 43 for energizing the shoe 42 toward the member 41. Thus, when low-speed rotation of the output shaft 16a involves lower centrifugal force, the push spring 43 energizes the shoe 42 toward the member 41 so that the shoe 42 frictionally engages with the member 41. As a result, braking force due to friction is imparted to the output shaft 16a during the low-speed rotation to suppress the vibration of the output shaft 16a, thus suppressing the occurrence of abnormal noises (gear noises).
