PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: a cutting blade of a cutting tool with the high hardness cutting blade is susceptible to fracture; and an improvement in workability of manufacture of the cutting tool is desired.SOLUTION: A cutting tool 1 includes a cutting part 10 that is provided on a tip side, and a shank 20 that is provided on a rear end side. An outer periphery 10C of a cross-sectional surface of the cutting part 10 assumes an equilateral polygon shape. A plurality of linear protrusion-shaped cutting blades 2 of the same shape, which have a flat surface 2B toward a central axis O from respective apexes P of an equilateral polygon, are provided in the same diffused shape in a state in which the respective cutting blades 2 are not connected to each other, on a cutting surface 10A of the cutting part 10. The shank 20 holds the cutting part 10. |
