Close to the street level, the user of the device will take a step back or a small jump of less than 50 cm. approximately, from the base of the device where he is standing to the ground floor. The structure of the device has a treadmill that fastens the bases and handles, a mechanism with calipered pulleys that are fixed to the base of the building, and a metallic gutter at the highest point of the building for protecting and guiding the treadmill, also including a metallic structure for supporting the gutter lengthwise. Preferably, the base of the building will have a floor made of a material that may absorb the impact of possible falls or stumbles of distances lower than one meter upon descending from the device to the ground level. The speed will always be controlled and limited, allowing the descent of multiple persons to be continuous and safe. The device will be located lengthwise one or more external walls of the buildings or skyscrapers, between three walls of solid bricks or concrete which prevent fire from trespassing.
