PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire cord that can suppress local heat generation in a cord during driving, and to provide a pneumatic tire with improved durability by using the tire cord. SOLUTION: The tire cord is obtained by attaching an adhesive liquid containing a fibrous filler and a resorcin-formalin-latex-based adhesive on a surface of an organic fiber cord. At least one kind of the fibrous filler has a thermal conductivity of 10 to 1200 W/mK, a filler diameter of 1 to 20μm and an aspect ratio of 5 to 1000.
