A system (1) for passive entry and/or passive start for a motor vehicle (2) is described, which includes an antenna group (8) and an electronic control unit (5) designed to be coupled to the vehicle (2), the electronic control unit (5) for controlling the antenna group (8) to cooperate with an portable recognition device (12) carried by a user to enable the entry and/or start of the vehicle (2). The antenna group (8) has at least a first antenna (8a) and a second antenna (8b), designed to operate within the frequency range, and according to the communication protocol, of the Bluetooth (RTM) standard, and having a respective radiation lobe (8a', 8b); wherein the first antenna (8a) and the second antenna (8b) are arranged so that their radiation lobes (8a', 8b') are arranged on opposite sides with respect to a longitudinal symmetry axis (A) of the motor vehicle (2). The portable recognition device (12) may be an electronic key fob, or may be mobile phone, smartphone or other consumer communications device. |
