The objective of the present invention is to provide a rotating apparatus which has a good cooling effect and prevents the generation of a loud noise depending on a rotation velocity. A rotor core (4A) is installed on an outer surface, A rotation shaft (5) is rotatably supported by a bearing (12). A first flow path (6) is formed along an axis center line (X) from one end (5a) of the rotation shaft (5) to the other end (5b). A second flow path (7) is a connection part (C) set in the first flow path(6) around the other end (5b). The second flow path (7) is open, faces the outer surface of the rotation shaft (5), and is connected to be orthogonal to the first flow path (6). The flow path area A1 of the first flow path (6) which is extended from the one end (5a) of the rotation shaft (5) to the connection part (C) is approximately equal to the sum of the flow path area A21∼A23 of the second flow path (7) right behind the connection part (C). |
