The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing hepatitis C comprising 4-phenylbutyric acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The pharmaceutical composition according to the present invention results in superior inhibitory effects of HCV, not only has low toxicity, but also can be applied to interferon-resistant patients, and thereby can be effectively used to a treatment or prevention of hepatitis C. |
