The present method relates to ferritic stainless steel with excellent formability in the case of forming a fuel cell separator of a material by controlling yield point elongation according to components of an alloy. The ferritic stainless steel according to the present invention comprises, in wt%, less than or equal to 0.02% of C, less than or equal to 0.02% of N, less than or equal to 0.4% of Si, less than or equal to 0.2% of Mn, less than or equal to 0.04% of P, less than or equal to 0.02% of S, 25.0-32.0% of Cr, 0-1.0% of Cu, less than or equal to 0.8% of Ni, 0.01-0.5% of Ti, 0.01-0.5% of Nb, 0.01-1.5% of V, and the remainder consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities. Provided is a method for manufacturing steel materials excellent in formability, of which yield point elongation of a material is below 1.1% by using formula (1), wherein each content of Ti, Nb, V, C, and N of molten steel is in wt%. (1) 9.1C-1.76V+5.37(C+N)/Ti-1.22Nb<=0.7. |
