The present invention relates to a broadband planar quasi-yagi antenna used for a mobile communications base station and terrestrial digital broadcast reception and, more specifically, to a broadband planar quasi-yagi antenna comprising: a dielectric substrate; a co-planar strip which is disposed on one surface of the dielectric substrate and formed with in two conductive strips having a central portion spaced apart in a predetermined distance; a dipole which is fed to the co-planar strip; a microstrip line which is mounted in the co-planar strip and is fed to the co-planar strip having a short-circuited end portion; and a rectangular director element which is spaced apart on the upper part of the dipole by a certain wavelength of a resonant frequency of the dipole. |
