The present invention relates to a USB memory device having a speaker and, more specifically, to a USB memory device having a speaker capable of outputting audio data stored in a memory of the USB memory device through the speaker while receiving external audio data from a USB port and outputting the external audio data through the speaker. To achieve this, the present invention provides a USB memory device having a USB port to connect to a USB interface and having a built-in memory. The USB memory device includes: a decoder which decodes digital audio data transmitted through the USB port or digital audio data stored in the memory; a D/A converter which converts the decoded digital audio data into analog audio data; an amplifier which amplifies the converted analog audio data; and a speaker which outputs the analog audio data transmitted from the amplifier. Herein, the USB memory device additionally includes an output socket for outputting the analog audio data amplified by the amplifier, and a keypad or a button arranged on an outer surface to enable a user to input output instruction information for the digital audio data stored in the memory. |
