The present invention relates to a system for checking the location of a needle and the removal of the needle. The needle removal tracking system using an image comprises a photographing means which takes a picture to check the location of the needle and the removal of the needle; an analysis means which analyzes the image taken by the photographing means and checks the location of the needle and the removal of the needle; and a display means which displays a checked result of the location of the needle and the removal of the needle based on the result analyzed by the analysis means. Therefore, incomplete removal of the needle is prevented by photographing a treatment area and analyzing the image so as to track the removal of the needle.
