An image forming apparatus is disclosed. The image forming apparatus comprises an image forming unit for printing using a light source and a photosensitive medium; a registration unit adjusting exposure time corresponding to changed intensity of the light source when the intensity of the light source is changed; and a control unit controlling the image forming unit to print according to the adjusted exposure time.
