PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To forcibly produce and remove a precipitate from a treating liquid at a specified position to prolong life of the treating liquid, to decrease the amt. of a waste liquid, and to save the time for maintenance by providing the developing device with a forcible precipitating zone in the circulating path of a treating liquid and with a removing zone of the precipitate succeeding to the forcible precipitating zone. SOLUTION: The circulating path consists of a precipitating zone 80, a filter 32, a circulating pump 33 and a developing tank 29 connected with pipes 84-87. The precipitating zone 80 is equipped with a light source 64A or heat source 64B to irradiate the developer with light or heat rays. Thereby, the component of a PS plate dissolved in the treating liquid by development is mainly changed into a sludge precipitate, which is trapped by a filter 83. Therefore, such a problem that the developer as a whole is homogeneously fatigued and deteriorated to decrease its activity can be avoided and a longer life of the developer is obtd. The precipitate is accumulated on the precipitation filter 83 and/or the filter 32 and is recovered by periodical disassembling of the container 81. |
