The unit (12) i.e. elastically deformable ring, has a set of blocking elements such as notches, that is attached to a stator (18). Another set of blocking elements such as parallelepipedic extensions, that is lined to a rotor (20) so as to lock a rotary switch (14) in a predetermined angular position, where the locking unit is able to be deformed in an unbolted form in which the former set of blocking elements is released from the stator by angularly unbolting the rotary switch. An independent claim is also included for a rotary switch.
