An all-color cumulative merge unit 33a cumulatively adds the color page-based area data amount for each sub-image area to calculate an all-color cumulative count value of all colors for one page. An area division fixing temperature control unit 56 performs heating control of the sub-heating areas TA-TD of the fixing roller 55a on the basis of the all-color cumulative count value for one page for each sub-image area.
