Provided in the present invention is an improved campylobacter detection method using a syringe filter. The campylobacter is Campylobacter jejuni, or Campylobacter coli, and the campylobacter detection using 0,65 micrometers of a syringe filter shows sensitivity similar to a membrane filter, while reducing the time and a possibility of contamination. Moreover, more excellent sensitivity and selectivity are achieved compared with the case of not filtering in a test for a real food (chicken) sample.
