PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device server system for effectively performing one-way serial data communication, a device server, and a program.SOLUTION: A client comprises: device control means for issuing a command for controlling a predetermined device; data transmission means for, in response to the command issuance by the device control means, transmitting a predetermined unit of data to the predetermined device; and serial transmission notification means for transmitting a serial transmission notification of the fact that multiple pieces of serial data transmission is performed by the data transmission means, to a device server. Also, the device server comprises notification response transmission means for, when receiving the serial transmission notification, transmitting a response related to the serial transmission notification to the client only in a predetermined case. |
