The embodiments of the present invention provide a method and device for transmitting services. The method comprises: a mobility management entity (MME) receiving a first anomaly detection result of a first switching network, wherein the first anomaly detection result is used for indicating that the first switching network is abnormal; and according to the first anomaly detection result, the MME triggering at least a part of user equipments to initiate a tracking area update process, so as to enable at least a part of services corresponding to the at least part of user equipments to be switched to a second switching network from the first switching network, wherein the first switching network is one of a circuit switching (CS) network and an Internet protocol multimedia system (IMS) network and the second switching network is the other of the CS network and the IMS network, and the services are those supported by both the CS network and the IMS network. The embodiments of the present invention can avoid or reduce service losses caused when one of the IMS network and the CS network fails.
