PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass intercalating a large quantity of gas molecules and releasing the gas molecules at low temperature.SOLUTION: A glass contains V, intercalates gas molecules and releases the intercalated gas molecules. The glass is manufactured by a method including a step of melting glass containing V and a step of jetting water or gas to the molten glass.
