PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to reduce size and thickness of a radio device while obtaining satisfactory operability of an antenna of the radio device.SOLUTION: A radio device comprises: a first casing; a second casing; a connection part for connecting the first casing with the second casing; an antenna storage part arranged in the first casing; and an antenna stored in the antenna storage part. A tip end of the antenna is arranged on a longitudinal side face of the first casing. The antenna storage part is arranged such that a longitudinal direction of the antenna storage part is in almost parallel with a lateral direction of the first casing. A connection part comprises a mechanism for switching between a state that the first casing and the second casing are overlapped and a state that the first casing and the second casing are serially connected in the longitudinal direction of the first casing.
