In order to produce an incinerator, in which solar radiation can be used for reducing the quantity of fuel required with little technical effort, the incinerator comprises an incineration device for chemically reacting fuel and oxidising agent, a fuel supply line for supplying fuel to the incineration device, an oxidising agent supply line for supplying oxidising agent to the incineration device, an exhaust gas conduit for removing exhaust gas from the incineration device, a solar thermal device, by means of which a heat transfer medium in the form of as thermal oil can be heated using solar radiation, wherein the solar thermal device comprises one or a plurality of Fresnel collectors, and the incinerator further comprises one or a plurality of heat exchangers by means of which heat can be transferred from the heat transfer medium to the fuel conducted in the fuel supply line, to the oxidising agent conducted in the oxidising agent supply line, and/or to the exhaust gas conducted in the exhaust gas conduit. |
