Provided are: a highly reliable liquid crystal device, a liquid crystal device manufacturing method, and an electronic apparatus. The present invention includes: a seal material (14) for adhering an element substrate and a facing substrate to each other; a sealing material (17) for sealing an opening region (14a) where the seal material (14) is opened; a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between the element substrate and the facing substrate; a first inorganic alignment film (28) that is provided between the element substrate and the liquid crystal layer; and a second inorganic alignment film that is provided between the facing substrate and the liquid crystal layer. At least the first inorganic alignment film (28) is disposed to extend to a region overlapping the sealing material (17) in a planar view.
