The exhaust gas treatment system is provided with: a CO2 recovery device for recovering CO2 from exhaust gas exhausted from a boiler or turbine; a VOC-removing device for removing VOC from the exhaust gas after being treated by the CO2 recovery device; a heating means for heating the exhaust gas after being treated by the CO2 recovery device and before being treated by the VOC-removing device; and a cooling means for cooling the exhaust gas after being treated by the VOC-removing device.
