<p>Disclosed are a data transmission method, an apparatus and a system. The method comprises: a user equipment sending data processing capability information of the user equipment to a network device; and the user equipment performing small data transmission with the network device using a small data transmission method determined by the network device, wherein the small data transmission method is determined by the network device according to the data processing capability information. According to the present invention, the user equipment sends its own data processing capability information to the network device so that the network device learns about small data transmission methods that can be adopted by the user equipment, thus determining a method that can be used in small data transmission between the user equipment and the network device. Likewise, the network device can send its own data processing capability information to the user equipment to ensure that the user equipment and the network device have common understanding of a small data processing capability, give full play to advantages of a selected small data processing scheme, and reduce an exception caused by capability mismatch between the network device and the user equipment.</p> |
