Aug. 21, 1948, No. 22081, [Classes 75(ii) and 75(iv)] A reflector fitting for tubular electric lamps comprises a reflector plate c for two or more lamps arranged in parallel, said plate being slidably connected with the main body a of the fitting and being retained in position by the location of the plate c in register with pairs of mutually divergent lamp sockets b<SP>1</SP>, b<SP>2</SP>. The reflector plate c shown is of inverted V cross-section and of length suitable for forming a closure plate for the inverted channel-shaped body a, and is provided with aligned slots c<SP>1</SP> for engaging the sockets b<SP>1</SP>, b<SP>2</SP>, the slots c<SP>1</SP> at one end being longer than those at the other end for facilitating assembly. A thumb and finger-piece c<SP>2</SP> is provided for manipulation of the reflector plate. |
