PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melt-forming method for accurately melt-forming, in a hemispherical shape, a top face of an exposed large diameter part of a stepped columnar metal member of which the small diameter part is embedded in an insulation member.SOLUTION: A small diameter part 12 of a stepped columnar metal member 10 is embedded in an insulation member 20 as a whole, and a large diameter part of the metal member 10 is exposed on the insulation member 20 as a whole. In such the state, a top face of the large diameter part 11 is irradiated with a laser beam from the upper side of the large diameter part 11. At this time, the laser beam is irradiated in such a manner that a center axis of the laser beam is matched with a center axis of the large diameter part 11 and that the top face of the large diameter part 11 is irradiated with the laser beam simultaneously over the whole area thereof. Thus, the whole region of an upper portion of the large diameter part 11 is melted by the laser beam, and the top face of the large diameter part 11 can be accurately melt-formed from "a plane" into "a hemisphere" protruding upwards. |
