PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper conveying device comprising a conveyance belt capable of suppressing transfer of ink stain to an article to be conveyed. ! SOLUTION: The paper conveying device includes a feed section to be set with a paper money bundle, a paper feed section for taking out paper money one by one from an upper part of the paper money bundle conveyed from the feed section, a conveyance section for conveying the fed paper money, an inspection section for determining quality of the printing state in front/rear surfaces, an accumulation section capable of partitioning based on the inspected result, and a discharge section for discharging a 1000-sheet bundle banded in a cross shape. The conveyance section comprises a conveyance belt and a guide for conveying the paper money, and a contact face of the conveyance belt and the paper money has a convex shape or an uneven shape. !
