<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting/separating jig for a cable equipped with a suspension wire which realizes improved work safety by retracting the tip of a cutting blade when not in use.SOLUTION: A cutting/separating jig 1 is provided to cut and separate, along a connection piece 107, a cable 100 equipped with a suspension wire 104 having a cable body 101 provided with a core wire and an outer cover for covering the core wire, the suspension wire provided with a support wire and an outer cover for covering the support wire, and the connection piece for connecting the outer covers in parallel. The cutting/separating jig 1 comprises: a pair of holding pieces 10 whose one end is supported by a hinge part 20 in a freely openable and closable manner, and which surround, when they are closed, an outer face of one of the cable body or the suspension wire with each of their inner faces; a cutting blade 30 which is supported by at least one of the holding pieces, that is the holding piece 10A, and has a blade tip 31 supported in such a manner that it can protrude and retract from the other end of the holding pieces; and a cutting blade operation mechanism 40 which causes the blade tip to retract into a retracted position when the pair of holding pieces are opened, whereas when the pair of holding pieces are closed, causes the blade tip to protrude into a protruding position.</p> |
