The present invention relates to a weight lightening plastic stop-gate for preventing flooding, and, more particularly, to a weight lightening plastic stop-gate for preventing flooding which is installed at a gate of a house to which a lot of rainwater may be induced in order to easily and rapidly save the old, the weak and women in a flooding situation occurring in an instant. The plastic stop-gate for preventing flooding is manufactured by containing 50 to 70 wt% of polypropylene, 20 to 40 wt% of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), and 5 to 15 wt% of compatibilizing agents. The plastic stop-gate for preventing flooding according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a fixed support frame which is fixed on the front side of building standing at both sides to be spaced at a predetermined interval and has a connection ring; a plastic plate of which surface is an oval-shaped curved surface to be attached to the fixed support frame by a clip; and a rubber gasket which is mounted on the side and the edge of the lower end part of the plate to get in contact with the fixed support frame and the floor. The plastic stop-gate according to the present invention can prevent a water leakage, deformation and damages by an impact under a static head condition, a tidal current condition and a tidal wave condition relative to the designated maximum water depth which is the height that the stop-gate can stop water from the floor physically to the utmost when the stop-gate is installed, reduce weight and manufacturing costs because it is made of not metal but plastic, simplify the structure and enhance productivity, thereby effectively saving the old, the weak and the women from flood damage. |
