1. A fixed interconnect topology for implementing a backplane of a blade chassis in a computing rack, comprising;
a plurality of a first type of communication cables, wherein each of the plurality of first type of communication cables extends from a common first location to a respective one of a plurality of fixed locations, and wherein the plurality of first type of communication cables forms a first communication network of the fixed interconnect topology; a plurality of a second type of communication cables, wherein each of the plurality of second type of communication cables extends from the common first location to a respective one of the plurality of fixed locations, and wherein the plurality of second type of communication cables forms a second communication network of the fixed interconnect topology; and a plurality of power cables, wherein each of the plurality of power cables extends from a common second location to a respective one of the plurality of fixed locations.
