<p>The invention relates to medical and therapeutic equipment, in particular, to medical beds. The claimed multifunctional bed provides the possibility, by means of unrestricted combined change of the patient body position in the 3-dimensional space along all the three axes, to select the most comfortable position for the patient, and also to reduce the labor intensity of care. This is achieved by a multifunctional bed comprising a base support (1) with vertical guides (3) affixed to the crosswise ends thereof and bed backrests (4, 5) installed on the said crosswise ends with the capability of being moved; a framework (6) fastened to the bed backrests (4, 5) with the capability of being rotated with relation to the bed longitudinal axis and made of cross pieces (7, 8) connected with each other by means of longitudinal (9, 10) and transverse (11, 12) strips; an upper platform (13) installed inside the frame (6) with a capability of being turned, rotated and lifted in the vertical direction relative to the frame cross axis; wherein the upper platform (13) consists of individual sections (14, 15, 16, 17) one of which is stationary relative to the frame (6), while the others are mounted with the capability of being rotated, wherein the frame (6) and the bed backrests (4, 5), and the upper platform (13) and the frame (6), are connected pivotally.</p> |
