<p>The invention relates to a process for treating an effluent to be treated for the purpose of bringing down the phosphate content thereof, wherein said process comprises a step of biological treatment, under anoxic conditions, of said effluent to be treated which produces a first effluent, a step of biological treatment, under aerobic conditions, of said first effluent which produces a second effluent, a step of recirculation of at least one part of said second effluent to the input of said step of biological treatment under anoxic conditions, a step of liquid/solid separation of at least one part of said second effluent which produces a treated effluent and a more dense first effluent, a step of production of volatile fatty acids comprising a wet heat treatment, at a temperature of between 100 and 350°C, for a residence time of between 10 and 180 minutes, of at least one part of said more dense first effluent, a step of biological treatment, under anaerobic conditions, of at least one part of the effluent originating from said step of wet heat treatment, and a step of recirculation of at least one part of the effluent originating from said step of biological treatment under anaerobic conditions to the input of said step of biological treatment under anoxic conditions. The invention also relates to equipment for implementing this process.</p> |
