PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid pressure adjustment mechanism capable of performing pressure control of fluid (slurry) containing particles even under a high pressure condition, and to provide a continuous-type apparatus including the fluid pressure adjustment mechanism and a &bgr; glucan manufacturing method using the continuous-type apparatus.SOLUTION: A reaction apparatus comprises slurry supply means, a reaction path 2, which while continuously feeding slurry liquid under high pressure, allows the slurry to react, and a pressure adjustment mechanism for adjusting pressure of the slurry. A pressure control pump 8 for feeding slurry liquid is used as the pressure adjustment mechanism. The pressure control pump 8 is connected to the outlet side of the reaction path 2 so as to feed the slurry liquid in the reverse order to normal liquid feeding order. While measuring the pressure of the slurry by a pressure gauge 7 installed on the way of the reaction path 2, the pressure control pump 8 is controlled. |
