DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD AND DEVICE

Disclosed is a data transmission method, which comprises: sending at least two groups of identical data to a user equipment; and instructing the user equipment to perform softer combination on the received at least two groups of identical data. An embodiment of the present invention also provides a corresponding device, which comprises a base station, a user equipment, and a radio network controller. By means of the technical solution of the present invention, the user equipment is instructed to process the received data by using a softer combination manner; therefore, the reliability is improved and the call drop rate is reduced.
