<p>Disclosed are a method and device for embedded image recording, allowing for convenient implementation of recording, real-time lookup, and forwarding of a banknote image. The device of embodiments of the present invention has a compact size and reduced costs and can be integrated within a banknote processing device. The method of the embodiments of the present invention comprises: when image data is detected to be present at a high-speed communication port, the image recording device writes the image data into a buffer queue; when the image data is present in the buffer queue, the image recording device compresses the image data; and, the image recording device writes the compressed image data into a memory. The buffer queue is a first in, first-out buffer queue. The method of the embodiments of the present invention allows for convenient implementation of recording, real-time lookup, and forwarding of the banknote image. The device of the embodiments of the present invention has a compact size and reduced costs and can be integrated within the banknote processing device.</p> |
