<p>An apparatus and a method for drawing using a virtual pen on a smart terminal are disclosed. The apparatus includes a touchscreen which displays a virtual pen having a pen shape on a window, which receives a touch by a user in an area of the displayed virtual pen, and which displays a drawing using an end point of the virtual pen according to the movement of the received touch; and a control module which determines whether a touch is inputted in the area of the displayed virtual pen, and which controls the touchscreen to display a drawing by moving the virtual pen according to the movement of the touch when it is determined that the touch is inputted in the area. The control module controls to display the thickness, color, and texture of a line drawn by the virtual pen according to a selection of the user, controls the virtual pen to move without displaying a drawing by the virtual pen when the user touches an area of the virtual pen and moves the touch within a predetermined time (seconds), and controls the virtual pen to display a drawing when the user touches an area of the virtual pen for the predetermined time (seconds) or more and moves the touch. The texture of the line consists of the texture of a line displayed by at least one among a brush, a fountain pen, a ballpoint pen, and a pencil.</p> |
